SUZANA FIEGHEN. The Artisan Route.
After three decades working in the commercialization of huaso hats, Susana Fiegehen Cabrolier, a native of San Antonio, a citizen of Rancagua for several decades and now settled in Requínoa, takes a creative turn in her life and decides to pour all the knowledge she acquired into the processes from the world of huasa clothing to take it to the beautiful creation of bracelets and accessories made of dye, goat leather that is peeled, rubbed and cleaned to obtain a very ductile raw material to be worked with the braiding technique.
His bracelets are made with braids of 4, 6 or 8 strands to give shape to textures typical of the accessories of the huaso world, but he takes them to a more aesthetic and symbolic level since it is an element that is appreciated and recognized for the work he wears. He works with natural materials and only incorporates color by dyeing some of his products with tea leaves.
